Overview

Nestled in the heart of Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Q Bistro TTDI offers a refined take on Indian Muslim cuisine. This spot stands out not just for its flavorful dishes but also for its clean and inviting ambiance—a rare gem in the bustling Kuala Lumpur food scene. The location is convenient, with a cozy dining area that strikes a balance between casual and comfortable, making it ideal for both quick meals and relaxed dining sessions.

The menu is a celebration of traditional favorites elevated with care and authenticity. Highlights like Thosai Masala and Roti Canai Kari Kambing showcase the rich, spiced layers that Indian Muslim fare is known for. The Thosai Masala in particular receives praise for its crisp exterior and flavorful potato and carrot filling, perfectly complemented by bold chutneys that add depth and contrast. The aroma and texture invite you to slow down and savor each bite. Likewise, dishes like Ayam Kurma and Puttu Mayam with Fish Curry highlight the complexity of spices and fresh ingredients, delivering hearty satisfaction whether you’re craving something light or deeply rich.

The drinks deserve a mention too—teh tarik here is smooth and irresistibly creamy, an essential pairing for many of their savory plates. Some patrons have also found their rare find in the pure, fresh susu lembu, making it a breakfast staple worth returning for.

Beyond the food, Q Bistro excels in its service and atmosphere. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, maintaining swift yet unobtrusive service that keeps the energy flowing. Cleanliness is evidently a priority, with a spotless dining area and restrooms that surpass expectations for a mamak-style eatery. Air-conditioning adds comfort, especially in Kuala Lumpur’s tropical heat, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Dinner at Q Bistro TTDI hit the spot with their Thosai Masala—crisp on the outside, warmly spiced and satisfying on the inside. The chutneys were bold and distinct, especially the orange one that added a nice punch. It’s the kind of comfort food that makes you pause between bites just to savour the mix of textures and flavours. Service was brisk, the place had its usual buzz, and the plate came out hot. A solid four-star meal that I wouldn’t mind repeating on a hungry evening.

This is honestly the cleanest mamak I’ve ever been to — they really care about hygiene and cleanliness, even in small details. The dining area is spotless, and the bathroom is surprisingly clean (which is rare for mamak places!). The staff are all super nice and attentive, service is quick, and the overall vibe is friendly and comfortable. Food tastes great, portions are generous, and the price is very reasonable for the location. Definitely one of my top picks around TTDI — highly recommended if you want good local food in a clean, comfy setting. Nasi Briyani Ayam ‘Q’ is highly recommended!

Went here for a quick breakfast. I have been searching the genuine fresh susu lembu for a very long time, finally found it in here. Ordered a cup of the susu lembu myself, it did not disappoint me, love it! The food served here is quite fast. Would go to other branch again if craving for the susu lembu again. :D
